A big congratulations go out to the eight composers selected for this Call for Scores! Stay tuned for the recordings that will be launching August 1st!
Diversify the Stand and the Trumpeter’s Multitrack Competition are teaming up!
We are launching a Call for Scores for trumpet ensemble pieces to help build an awareness around works that may have not had as much exposure since the pandemic began. In a field where the same pieces are often programmed for trumpet ensemble, we want to highlight works by more incredible composers to start building a more colorful trumpet ensemble program! We are looking for trumpet ensemble works written in the past 3-ish years that have received minimal exposure, written by composers marginalized by race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, and/or orientation. Works can already be premiered and recorded - we want to use the platforms we have to help as much as we can!
The DtS/TMTC Call for Scores is FREE. If your score is accepted, one of the three TMTC founders will make a high-quality video and audio recording of your work, providing you with both recordings!
Trumpet ensemble pieces can include 4 to 10 parts and can be up to 10 minutes in length. See our FAQ for more information regarding trumpets and mutes.
